The wireless keypad is a radio control designed for automatic garage door and gate operators, providing unparalleled security with more than a million different codes. To operate, the user enters their unique 1 to 6 digit code on the keypad and presses the button to activate the door operator. For up to 30 seconds after the last activation, the keypad can be re-triggered by pressing the button again, allowing the user to stop or reverse the opener quickly without re-entering the code.

The keypad features built-in lighting for use at night or in dark areas, with clear silicone keys backlit by a soft blue glow. The button can be pressed at any time to activate the keypad backlight. To turn the overhead operator light on or off, the user enters their code and then presses the button. The keypad lockout timer will disable the keypad after 10 activations, requiring it to remain idle for 30 seconds before new attempts.

The receiver is programmed by sending a signal from the user's transmitters, storing the transmitter's code in the receiver's memory. The receiver will retain its memory even without power and will only activate from these "memorized" transmitters. Each keypad code can be considered a different transmitter, with each receiver able to remember a maximum of 10 transmitter codes. Any combination of portable transmitters and keypad codes up to the maximum can be entered.

The keypad features a light gray (off white) exterior color with a soft blue lighted keypad for nighttime use, and a hinged cover to protect it from the elements. This is the newest version, replacing the previous Linear keypad model LPWKP.

The keypad is compatible with Linear garage door opener models LDCO863B, LDCO841, LDCO850, LDCO852, LCDO801, LDCO800, LDO33, LDO55, LDO50, LSO50, and LCO75, as well as the Linear MDRU Plug-in Radio Receiver, MGR Receiver, and MDR Radio Receiver. It includes mounting hardware (2 screws & anchors), three (3) AAA batteries, and programming instructions.
